If we humans die, will we live again? That’s my question. All through these difficult days I keep hoping, waiting for the final change—for resurrection! Homesick with longing for the creature you made, you’ll call—and I’ll answer! You’ll watch over every step I take, but you won’t keep track of my missteps. My sins will be stuffed in a sack and thrown into the sea—sunk in deep ocean. (Job 14:1-17 MSG)
Resurrection
It’s coming….
A whisper in a stifling tunnel
A slow rumbling, a murmur, a breeze
Whistling…Hot
Shifting and sifting…in and through
It’s the noise of untold truths
It’s coming
The wild random abandon of life recalling life
As right as rain, sure as the sun
Dependable. Reliable. It too will rise
Heaven dominates
Will rightfully raise hell on earth
And birth new songs
From broken chords
A street symphony
Of angelic praise
Breaking from the soil, emerging
A wellspring of Life.
after…again…made new
there will be only one
Voice.
His.
I’m waiting for the resurrection.
Where songs and stories and words….roots, long since buried reappear
Persistent strength and beauty exposed
Restored
Resurrection is rebirth
Regeneration of life
What was once dead is pulsing, breathing…alive.
There is always…hope.
A new beginning
Genesis on repeat…and God created…and God created
And God created.

Your post was the first communication on my blog in the past week. When I don’t write regularly it seems I lose the confidence to post. The longer I wait the harder it gets and the more I wonder if anyone will be here when I get back. Seeing you on the playground of my posting world felt so good. Thanks again Lori!
This is so beautiful, so deep, so soothing. I have been blessed.

Yes, Awaiting for the big moment – and at the same time, living now in the power of His resurrection by His grace … Linving in the present, hoping for the future!
That’s an important point you share. We can enjoy the present because of the awesome power and promise of a hopeful future. Thanks for adding to the conversation at #GiveMeGrace!
Beautiful & powerful words! “And God created and God created and God created.” His creativity is never exhausted. He is ever creating. He has created this very day & I am going to rejoice in it as I continue to wait for the resurrection. Thank you for sharing your words!
